What we do

Precision-cut timber components – machined, drilled, mitred, planed and shaped components plus inserts for beds, furniture, relocatable buildings and associated industry sectors
Timber sub-assemblies – computerised cross-cut and drilled softwoods, screwed or stapled and glued to meet our customers specifications
Complete frames – precision manufactured and hand-finished structures for the inners of divan beds, sofas and upholstered furniture

Our machinery

With a strong portfolio of state of the art machinery, Westcon Products continually invests to ensure they are the leading edge of the industry sector and able to provide an efficient and cost-effective service to their customers.

There are a range of capabilities which include the following:

Bandsaw: To cut timber to specific size before further machining
Planers/Moulders: A range to plane and mould batches of timber for corner/centre blocks, rails, struts etcetera
Cross-cut machines: Using the latest CNC technology to cut components accurately to length
Double-ended Tenoner: Allows profiling of board ends to match solid corner block radius
Drilling machines: New technology permitting production of complicated drill patterns with minimum set-up times
T-nut machines: - Permits easy insertion of t-nuts into products/components

We also have many other smaller items of plant and equipment which allow streamlined production facilities to complement the main assembly lines.
